An intensive autumn

An intensive and positive start to the autumn has resulted in 4 new employees; we have strengthened our competence primarily on the software and mechanics front. The expansion has continued at a high pace and we have increased our turnover by 46 % compared with the same period last year. We are also taking the chance to renew our premises and adapting them to a more optimised production flow and more creative work environment for all our work colleagues.

Aztek exhibitions shelf has been launched

Eurobib has now introduced the exhibition shelf Aztek on their homepage, a product designed and developed by us at Scalae. A product developed in accordance with our development strategy. Guided by the key words flexible, multi-functional and mobile, we developed a modular system in close collaboration with Eurobib. The result was a shelf of good ergonomics, an innovative design solution and a sensational form with a clear, strong side frame.

Collaboration created possibilities

Toul Meditech mentioned in DI (Dagens Industri) during week 36, show their best results in tough times. We, at Scalae, have had a lengthy client relationship with Toul and feel extra proud of our close collaboration, since Toul has now been featured in the media in an agreeable way. DESIGN. The technology consultant company Scalae has developed their own work method for product development. The method is called market-aligned technology development and is based on combining technology and management consulting.

Collaboration agreement with Cellavision!

Quote taken from Cellavision's first interim report for 2009:

New Partner!

Scalae AB has recently begun collaboration with Tänk - Profil & Design, a company offering complete solutions for company profiling. The collaboration involves, in short, Scalae AB helping out on the design side, as the company wants to look over their entire design profile. The assignment can include everything from simple logotypes to complete graphic handbooks. Tänk - Profil & Design set their strategy on those products matching the company's identity; all in order to create a common image and profile.

Medical device order!

Scalae AB in collaboration with Valtronic has during week 23 signed a development contract with a global pharmaceutical company.

Together, we will look at their next generation of a Medical Device. The assignment will start immediately and the first phase will be implemented in close collaboration during the summer months.

The Company of the Year distinction is awarded locally, regionally and nationally every year by the society Företagarna. Together with the organisations Svenskt Näringsliv (the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise) and the Municipality of Lund, Företagarna have decided to award the local prize for the year 2008 to Scalae AB. Scalae's BIGGEST order brought home

During week 14 Scalae AB signed an agreement with the American company Allergan worth 6-7 millions.

Allergan has chosen Scalae as its exclusive design and product development partner for a large medical technology assignment. Our current close collaboration with the Swiss section of Allergan has resulted in this prestige-filled assignment.

Fast product launching

Scalae AB has now fully passed the 300-mark for assignments performed. Most of these assignments were implemented during the period of 2005 up until today's date, which also mirrors our strong expansion. Scalae's ability to deliver market-aligned products in short lead time has been refined along the way and the assignments have generated many successful product launches. We are proud of our success and the confidence our clients feel in us and our unique development strategies.

Successful event

The Scanplast trade fair was a very successful event with many new business ideas. The total participation at the trade fair was a little more than 3,000. The visitors showed great interest in our unique development strategy and in Valtronic's micro-electronics.

Large order to Scalae AB
Scalae AB has begun the year with a large inflow of orders. During week 7, a development and production contract was signed at a value of 3.5 million. In total the flow of orders has been 15 % larger than was budgeted.

Winner of the Balloon trip
This year's happy winner of the Christmas lottery was Erik Fransén at HALDEX TRACTION SYSTEMS DIVISION.
